Internships During COVID-19

BDCC continues to partner with higher education in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts as well as employers in Southern Vermont. Explore the menu to the left to see how we’re pivoting to ensure continued opportunities for meaningful, hands-on learning.

The BDCC Internship Program connects currently enrolled college students and recent college graduates with Windham County companies through paid internship opportunities.

The program attracts students from across the County, the state, and the country to start their careers in Southern Vermont, providing work-based learning experiences to students, and qualified workers to the County’s growing businesses and nonprofits.

In order to to attract and recruit college students to opportunities in Windham County, BDCC partners with Community College of Vermont, Landmark College, Marlboro College, Vermont Technical College, and numerous other high education institutions in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Internships are a critical part of BDCC & SeVEDS efforts to increase the size and quality of the workforce by attracting, retaining, and returning talent to the region. We leverage the presence of dozens of educational institutions in and around the region. Internships are a great way for students who leave the region to purse their education to come home and connect with opportunities here.
