Draft Agenda:

Track 1: The first track will include connectivity information and how towns can get organized around these issues.

• 9:00 to 9:30am- “How to get organized” presentation by Laura Sibilia (BDCC) including a checklist of action items, understanding what you have and where you have it, and understanding the options available to your town
• 9:30 to 9:45- FirstNet Update
• 9:45 to 10:45- Case studies
• 10:45 to 11:15- “Survey for Residents” workshop. At the end of this workshop, we will have a draft survey that all towns can send out to their residents. The purpose of this survey will be to have the same understanding in each town of the residents’ understanding of broadband and their wants/needs around connectivity. This data will be collected and reported back at the Southern Vermont Economic Development Summit on May 23rd.

Track 2: The second track is for towns who have a town sanctioned effort.

• 10:45 to 11:15- “Survey for Residents” workshop. At the end of this workshop, we will have a draft survey that all towns can send out to their residents. The purpose of this survey will be to have the same understanding in each town of the residents’ understanding of broadband and their wants/needs around connectivity. This data will be collected and reported back at the Southern Vermont Economic Development Summit on May 23rd.
• 11:15a to 12:00p: Lunch (Please pack a lunch or utilize the cafe at the Grand Summit Resort during this time)
• 12:00pm- TBD: 30 minute one on one meetings with:
