Vida is a San Diego native who has laid roots down in Western Massachusetts. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Business Administration and is currently completing her M.S. in Non-Profit Management and Philanthropy with a Certificate in Strategic Fundraising. Her professional background includes accounting, finance, non-profit administration, and fine art education. As the former co-owner of Spectrum School of Fine Art, Vida immersed students into the River Arts District (RAD) community of Asheville, NC. She accomplished this through programs revolving around medium exploration and individualized creative development.
Vida functions as BDDC’s bookkeeper and leasing agent. She is happy to provide excellent support to the BDCC’s accounting department and the organization’s commercial tenants. Outside of BDCC, Vida loves hiking and spending time in the garden. She is a visual and movement artist who specializes in scrollwork, costume design, and has a knack for puppetry.
