Press Release: New BDCC Workshop Empowers Busy Entrepreneurs to Take Control of Social Media

Brattleboro, VT — In response to growing demand from local business owners, the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC) is proud to present a new hands-on seminar with Brittany Winfield of The Winfield Creative titled “Social Media Around My Schedule.” The workshop, offered at two convenient times and locations on Wednesday, June 11, 2025,  is designed to help time-strapped entrepreneurs build a consistent and manageable social media presence. Business owners across Windham County have voiced a clear and ongoing need for support in navigating social media marketing—both through individual outreach and in recent feedback gathered by the Windham Business Support Coalition, a collaborative partnership working to strengthen local economic ecosystems. This workshop is BDCC’s direct response to those requests.

Two free sessions will be offered:

  • 12:30–2:00 PM at the BDCC Office, 76 Cotton Mill Hill, Brattleboro, VT
  • 3:30–5:00 PM at the Old School Enrichment Center, 1 School St, Wilmington, VT

Each session includes a one-hour presentation by Brittany Winfield, a live Q&A session, and post-event access to Brittany for continued guidance. Participants will walk away with actionable strategies tailored to their limited availability, focusing on sustainability, simplicity, and real-world impact. Special thanks to Wilmington Works for their support in bringing this program to the Deerfield Valley region and helping make this resource more accessible to local businesses.
