EXAMPLE PROJECTS

Town of Whitingham – Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrades. The Town of Whitingham undertook critical upgrades to its two wastewater treatment systems serving the villages of Whitingham and Jacksonville. With funding from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and federal CDS support, the project included energy efficiency upgrades, safety enhancements, collection system repairs, building improvements, and compliance-driven equipment replacements—including backup generators now required by the State of Vermont and influent metering infrastructure to meet NPDES permit obligations. Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC) provided comprehensive grant administration and management services for the Town, ensuring compliance with complex federal, state, and regional funding requirements. BDCC worked closely with Town Administrator Gig Zboray throughout the process to coordinate reporting, documentation, and tracking of eligible expenditures.
