BRATTLEBORO — Local teens are getting a chance to look at career options and getting paid to do it.
Julia Menges, teen center program director at the Boy & Girls Club of Brattleboro, said the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation is “working with us to give stipends to 16- to 18-year-olds for career building.”
“But anyone from sixth to 12th grade is still welcome because that is the demographic that our teen center serves,” she said.
Students will be paid $50 stipends to attend sessions.
