Tax Prep Workshop Provided by Southern Vermont Young Professionals & United Way of Windham County

As the wave of Town Meeting Days wind down, we are reminded that tax season is right around the corner!

On March 28th, from 5:30-7:30pm at Club VT in Putney, VT, BDCC’s Southern Vermont Young Professionals will be hosting free tax prep assistance delivered with the help of the United Way of Windham County. And don’t worry, you wont be alone. We’ll have an IRS-certified tax preparer on hand, provided by United Way, to help you through the sticking points.

This free tax prep assistance uses MyFreeTaxes.com. The only qualifications needed in order to use this free service is that you must have earned $66,000 or less in 2018. Please be sure to bring a device to access the website and your necessary tax forms and information. You can access a checklist of these items on the Facebook event page.

Last year, Southern Vermont Young Professionals and the United Way of Windham County partnered on free tax prep assistance, with an attendance of 19 young professionals. We are proud to offer this popular workshop once again.
