Advancing Business Succession and Expanding Pathways to Ownership with VBOC

Over the past two months, BDCC has had the pleasure of partnering twice with the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC); hosting their Boots to Business program and working together on a regional presentation through the Northeast Transition Initiative focused on business acquisition.

These moments reflect the kind of momentum we’re building across Southern Vermont and the broader Northeast. Strong partnerships help us better support entrepreneurs at every stage, from startup to succession, and ensure more people have the tools and connections needed to step into business ownership. Our staff have been seeing an uptick in business succession events big and small and we believe and every single one matters. The scale of upcoming business transitions across the Northeast is significant, and without intentional support, too many viable businesses risk closing.

Thank you to VBOC for letting us be part of this work and for being such a strong partner in expanding access to business ownership opportunities.
