Crowd Head Over Heels for NECCA Burlesque Show Sponsored by the Southern Vermont Young Professionals

BRATTLEBORO, VT—Late on Thursday night, April 12, 2018, the Stone Church in downtown Brattleboro was dimly lit with pink and purple hues as over 50 people filtered in to witness Sub Rosa: A NECCA Burlesque Show. The show was sponsored by the Southern Vermont Young Professionals and was a collaboration with the New England Center for the Circus Arts months in the making.

The show was advertised as an “exciting and flirtatious evening of sexy quips” and it did not disappoint. There were 9 acts ranging from trapeze, adult humor, juggling, rapping, lyra and a rendition of “I’m All About That Bass.” The show provided NECCA students and coaches to put together an act a bit outside of their normal routines.

The Southern Vermont Young Professionals and NECCA look forward to future collaborations and will strive to be as entertaining as Sub Rosa.
