We organize locally to reach globally. The Connecticut River Valley region has long been connected to the wider world through its culture, its industry, and its history. Today, the Ecovation Hub is building on the work that came before and strengthening ties that can be the basis for ongoing exchange of knowledge, people, and commerce.
The International Action Team is the organizing body for this aspect of the Ecovation Hub’s work. Its active projects include:
- Re-activating the Foreign Trade Zone designation
- Establishing/expanding Sister City Relationships with Sweden, Germany, and elsewhere.
- Exploring the potential for EB-5 foreign investment
- Courting European manufacturers of advanced building products who wish to expand operations to New England.
