For small organizations, finding a new leader can be a difficult process, especially in a rural region with a small workforce to draw on. Lacking the capacity for full-blown executive search, what’s an org to do? Can you hire someone with intersectional experience and train them to be great for the job? Can you create processes that pave the way for promoting from within? Come discuss strategies that work for smaller orgs, whether blindsided by a sudden departure or unsure what to do as a director approaches retirement.

Sarah Audet, nonprofit strategic planning consultant, will share stories from her experience with organizations and executive searches of all sizes, and guide participants in an interactive conversation to uncover potential strategies for their individual situations.
