In late 2020, the Southern Vermont Economy Project, with funding through USDA RCDI, the Vermont Council on Rural Development, Vermont Natural Resources Council, Preservation Trust of Vermont, Vermont Housing and Conservation Board, and Vermont Community Foundation, worked to bring the Incremental Development Alliance to Rockingham. Out of this workshop, the Rockingham Incremental Development Working Group (RIDWG) was formed, and has made steady progress on incremental development of housing in Rockingham.
