Southern Vermont Young Professionals unveil new logo at 3rd Annual Gala, Local Young Professional recognized as logo designer

Brattleboro, VT – The 3rd Annual Creative Black Tie Gala, held on March 3rd, 2018 at the Brattleboro Museum and Arts Center, was overflowing with young professionals from all over the region. With over 300 attendees, BMAC was packed to the brim with people, music, and raffle prizes. The cherry on top of the evening was the unveiling of the new Southern Vermont Young Professionals logo, designed by Jacklyn Bunch of Newfane, Vermont.

“The Southern Vermont Young Professionals group is constantly engaging the young community with events that are both relevant and informational. This group has given me so many new connections with local people and businesses, and I thought designing a logo would be the perfect way to give back to an organization that provides me with so much,” says Jacklyn Bunch, logo designer.

Community members were asked to submit a logo that they felt best represents the group’s vision and goals. Seven logo submissions were received and the Southern Vermont Young Professionals steering committee voted on the logo submissions. Bunch’s logo was selected unanimously to represent the group.  The logo will appear on marketing material, the webpage, and Facebook page for the Southern Vermont Young Professionals.

“What the steering committee loves about this logo is that it accurately represents life in Southern Vermont for young professionals. It shows the innovation and rootedness of the community as well as the area’s natural beauty and commitment to our cultural centers. The mountains were chosen to be green because, of course, we are the Green Mountain State,” explains Sarah Lang, the Southern Vermont Young Professional Coordinator at the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation.
