Young Professionals enjoy the community atmosphere at the W. Townshend Country Store Pizza Night

The Southern Vermont Young Professionals enjoyed a lovely summer evening at the W. Townshend Country Store Pizza Night as the YP August event. If you’ve never had a chance to attend one of their pizza nights, be sure to put it on your list of things to do. Every Friday night, all year round (yes, even in winter!), the W. Townshend residents and others comes together to utilize their community wood-fired oven for freshly made pizza, drink, and music. In the warmer months, you can also do some shopping at their farmers market.

Some members of the Southern Vermont Young Professional’s steering committee had a table set up at the farmers market to provide information on the group as well as some of the work the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation does on the regional economy.

Next month, the YPs will be in Guilford at Circle Mountain Farm. Visit their website for more details on upcoming events.
