Your project or organization’s success can depend on securing the right funding, and BDCC is here to help you build the skills needed to do that. Through the Southern Vermont Economy Project (SVEP), we provide hands-on training, workshops, and expert-led sessions to help individuals and organizations become more self-sufficient in navigating the grant writing and management process.
Please note: BDCC does not offer one-on-one grant writing or contractual grant administration services. We do not write or manage grants on behalf of other organizations, except in very limited cases involving capital or facilities projects in which BDCC is a direct financial partner or stakeholder.
Our programming is designed to empower organizations to take the lead in their own grant development. Workshops cover core competencies, from identifying funding opportunities and writing compelling proposals to understanding funder expectations and aligning your project with grant requirements. Past sessions have included in-depth explorations of federal funding strategies, live narrative-writing feedback, and panel discussions with experienced funders.
We also help participants prepare for what comes after winning a grant. Training in grant compliance, financial tracking, procurement, and reporting equips local leaders to manage awarded funds responsibly and meet regulatory requirements. BDCC’s Finance and Grant Management Team shares real-world insights to demystify these often complex processes.
By strengthening local grant readiness and management capacity, BDCC helps ensure that more resources flow into Southern Vermont and are stewarded effectively by the people building its future.
Whether you’re exploring funding opportunities or navigating the complexities of grant management, BDCC can help you succeed, with personalized support, hands-on workshops, and expert guidance.
