This is part of a course that will take place over three Saturdays (10/17, 11/7 and 11/14) at locations around Southern VT. Need a scholarship or help finding a sponsor? Let us know as part of the registration.
The Get on Board Series paints a full picture of the way that volunteers support and build communities in Southern VT. If you are new to Vermont or looking to find your direction in community service, we recommend taking the full series! However, the workshops are also designed to stand alone, so feel free to register for the ones that best meet your needs and interests.
Alyssa Johnson of VCRD will take us through how community members can lead important projects in their own communities. From a town-wide celebration, a trail system, or a space the community can use for gatherings, you’ll learn best practices, see examples of projects, and have the chance to workshop with peers. You’ll leave with tools that can help you be successful on whatever project you want to do!
