Data Analyst
The ideal candidate listens to people and gathers information. With attention to detail, information organized into data. Technical skills will include
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data within software applications
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing columns of numbers and data, and performance indicators to locate and correct issues and patterns
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Interpersonal skills will include
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers and financial management personnel on data requirements and the organization of information
- Guiding users on procedural aspects of using sophisticated software
Position requires strong analytical skills, discipline to work as part of a team were each member is remote from the others. A candidate must have very good and reliable internet. Conversational knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
