BDCC, in partnership with the Vermont Small Business Law Center, will host two educational workshops designed to help small business owners understand legal issues that commonly arise in day-to-day operations. Participants will learn directly from attorneys experienced in working with small businesses.

Thursday, May 14, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This session will focus on how small businesses can exercise prevention strategies to avoid conflicts when collecting on receivables, as well as available options to collect, such as demand letters, mediation, negotiation, and small claims.

This workshop is offered free of charge as part of BDCC’s ongoing business technical assistance programming and partnership with regional resource providers.
