Securing financing can be a pivotal step in launching, growing, or stabilizing your business, but knowing where to start can feel overwhelming. At Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC), we’re here to help demystify the process and set you up for success. Hosted by BDCC’s business services team, this four part series will help small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs better understand and access capital.

This workshop is all about business financial statements and how businesses use credit presented by Chris White from KeyBank. This will be a hybrid workshop where participants will walk away with valuable knowledge about balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow reports, lines of credit, term loans, and financing options.

 

Session 1: Understanding Business Credit with Stephen Robert from Bedrock Credit America

Learn how you can build, interpret, and improve their credit profiles, and how credit impacts access to financing. 

This will be a virtual session on Wednesday, September 16 at 3pm.  

Session 2: Small Business Financial Statements & How Businesses Use Credit with KeyBank

Learn all about balance sheets, profit & loss statements & cash flow reports as well as lines of credit, credit cards, term loans, and financing options.

This will be a hybrid session on Wednesday, October 14 at 3pm.

Session 3: SME Financing Strategy with Will Jeffries from Blumenthal Enterprises

Learn how to choose the right capital for the business you’re actually building.

This will be a virtual session on November 18, at 3pm.

Session 4: Not All Capital is Equal: How to Avoid Financing Traps

Examine the true cost of financing options.

This will be a hybrid session on December 9th at 5pm. 

Meet the Bankers event to follow, in person at 6:00pm. 

All sessions are free to attend and participants can register for as many of the sessions as they’d like.
