The Get on Board Series paints a full picture of the way that volunteers support and build communities in Southern VT. If you are new to Vermont or looking to find your direction in community service, we recommend taking the full series! However, the workshops are also designed to stand alone, so feel free to register for the ones that best meet your needs and interests.
In this session we will answer questions like “how does the Select Board set tax rates for my town? Why do some towns have a town manager and some don’t? My town is looking for Planning Commission volunteers but I don’t know what they even do.” Bring your burning questions about local government and get ready to ace Town Meeting next year!
