The Get on Board Series paints a full picture of the way that volunteers support and build communities in Southern VT. If you are new to Vermont or looking to find your direction in community service, we recommend taking the full series! However, the workshops are also designed to stand alone, so feel free to register for the ones that best meet your needs and interests.
Local Democracy expert Susan Clark will lead us through a thought provoking workshop that will help participants experience coming to a community decision that incorporates diverse perspectives and points of view. Rather than regarding this as a compromise, it’s a pathway to being inclusive and building community through shared decision making. A must for anyone who feels discouraged by division in community discussions.
