First Time Homebuyer Roadmap event saw an attendance of 16 young professionals, traveling as far as Andover, VT, Keene, NH and Greenfield, MA. Presenting were experts in the home buying field, Debbie Timon from Windham-Windsor Housing Trust and Cathy Eakins of Peoples United Bank.
The group spent the evening in open dialogue, with frank questions from the young professionals on how they should address purchasing a house in their specific situations. There was talk of student loan debt, purchasing land verses a home, credit checks, and realtor relationships.
