Perfect Timing for a Winter Workforce Training!

Just days before the skiing season started, the BDCC hosted a Hospitality and Guest Services bootcamp in partnership with Vermont Department of Labor, Northern Vermont University, and Mount Snow.

19 community members from throughout the region, including one inspiring senior from Bellows Falls Union High school pursuing a career in the culinary industry, participated in two different trainings, which covered skills ranging from entry-level to supervisory, and lasted three days. Each participant received Industry Recognized Credentials in the Hospitality and Tourism industry. We are grateful for the public-private partnerships that made this possible, and look forward to offering more of these trainings in the future.
