New Brattleboro Resident Has Ambitions for Fashion with Congolese Roots

Falls Area Community TV’s Welcome Keene interviews Batunga Bibima, a new resident of Brattleboro who arrived with her family in October 2023 as a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo, most recently living in South Africa.

Batunga has honed her sewing and fashion design craft, and is eager to pursue new opportunities here in Vermont. Listen in as she shares about Congolese culture and her personal journey.
