Regional Leaders Gain Insight Into What Unlocks Funding Success

Over 40 Windham County, business owners, nonprofit leaders, municipal officials, and community partners gathered on June 25th for the latest Windham Leadership Series Event: Unlock Funding Success.

Participants heard from Emma Spett from the Leahy Institute for Rural Partnerships, Sarah Waring of the Northern Border Regional Commission, and Elisabeth Nance from the Vermont Department of Economic Development. Each spoke on the funding opportunities their organizations offer, project readiness, and how projects are evaluated and prioritized.

Networking before and after the program allowed attendees to connect, share ideas, and build cross-sector relationships. Consistent with the goals of the Windham Leadership Series, this event fostered collaboration and conversation, while providing timely information.

The Windham Leadership Series continues to serve as a forum where regional decision makers can gain practical insights, explore emerging opportunities, and engage in meaningful conversations about what is impacting Windham County and Southern Vermont as a whole.
