February 28, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm

Let’s be real: Vermont’s workforce is approaching an inflection point. As leaders in business and in our communities retire, the cohort of today’s young professionals are poised to carry the torch for a better Vermont. Integral to realizing a more just and equitable state is an open, honest, and ongoing dialogue about our history and the work to be done.
Steffen Gillom of the Windham County NAACP will provide a short overview of the civil rights history of Vermont and showcase the work of several organizations and justice leaders. This will be followed by a guided discussion of our experiences in Vermont and how we as YPs could become more involved.
