Blog: New Vermonters Attend Green Tech Summit

On January 17th, BDCC staff traveled to Greentech Renewables in Burlington with 7 New Vermonters to attend the Vermont Electrification Summit. The event brought regional electricians, solar installers, and energy management experts to learn about emerging green technology coming to Vermont, including batteries, smart panels, and electric car charging stations.

In partnership with Green Mountain Power, the BDCC is creating ELL-inclusive trainings for good, green jobs, starting with Battery Installation, where the events attendees will continue their learning and earn certificates and credentials in the field of electrification.
