Press Release: Southern VT Economy Project: Board Development Workshops

Southern Vermont: Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC)’s Southern Vermont Economy Project is providing regional workshops for local nonprofit organizations interested in guiding their board’s ongoing development to strengthen operations.
Participants will meet over two sessions to discuss established nonprofit board development best practices, then develop an action plan to help their organization ‘build a better board!’ Throughout, they will engage in small group discussions with peers to exchange ideas about what makes boards work most effectively.
The two-part workshop will be offered in Bennington and in Brattleboro. The Bennington sessions take place on Wednesday 11/13 and Wednesday 11/20, 4-6 pm at Bennington Community Market, 239 Main Street Bennington, VT. The Brattleboro sessions take place Monday 12/2 and Monday 12/9, 4-6 pm at the BDCC offices, 76 Cotton Mill Hill, Brattleboro, VT.
Attendance is Limited to 16 attendees per session.
