BDCC Partners with Insights for November 20th BizConnect Series Event
November 20 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Brattleboro, Vermont. The Insights Association North Atlantic Chapter is kicking off an exciting new initiative to help new and existing businesses realize the value of market research and insights, starting right here in Southern Vermont. The event will take place at the Saxtons River Distillery at 155 Chickering Dr, Brattleboro, VT 05301 on Wednesday, November 20, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. It will include a short interactive presentation and panel discussion, followed by a networking hour hosted as part of BDCC’s popular BizConnect series.
For their first event, the Insights Association (IANA) is partnering with the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation to provide businesses in Southern Vermont with a hands-on introduction to the power of insights. It’s a common misconception that market research is only for big companies or for launching new products. Rural businesses of all sizes can benefit from understanding their customers—their demographics, preferences, and challenges. Armed with this knowledge, business owners can tailor their offerings, resulting in happier customers and increased sales.
Market research also helps business owners spot opportunities they might not have noticed. Perhaps there’s a trend or gap in the market that a small business could fill. That kind of insight can lead to exciting growth, even without the huge budgets national companies might have. The IANA comprises professionals who have a wide range of experience helping companies from the Fortune 500 to newly minted startups and with this event are interested in supporting local Vermont businesses with their expertise.
This event is a unique opportunity to connect with market research practitioners in and near your community who want to give back and help you make informed decisions while staying connected to your audience. It’s a valuable tool for any business, big or small.
The event will also be promoted by the Center for Women and Enterprise, the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship, the Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Brattleboro Alliance. Snacks will be provided, along with a cash bar. The event is free but please register at https://brattleborodevelopment.com/bizconnect/.
Please join the insights ambassadors to network with colleagues and other interested local businesses!
