Grant Writing 201: The Basics & Beyond
January 4, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$80This 8-session course is a deep dive into the nuts and bolts of grant-writing. Participants will learn how to organize proposals, find and use pertinent facts and data, and build a compelling case to “sell” projects to funders. We will discuss strategies to fully meet grant application requirements, develop clear outcomes, prepare budgets, and more. You will learn to avoid common errors that keep many proposals from getting funded. Participants are welcome to come with actual proposal ideas; you will work in small groups to complete a “proposal concept paper” – a draft grant proposal. No grant-writing experience needed, but participants should have strong writing skills.
