Join the Southern Vermont Economy Project for the next in our series of lunchtime webinars that are designed to bring you timely information for your local project!

This session will focus on the Village Trust Initiative, a partnership between Preservation Trust of Vermont, Vermont Council on Rural Development and Vermont Community Foundation. In their words:

Villages are an essential part of our communities, Vermont’s identity, and its future. The Village Trust Initiative launched in 2024 offering expertise and funding to help 20 small towns create or bolster a local community trust organization and take on a transformational revitalization project in their village. These projects could be the revitalization of a general store, the creation of a community center, the renovation of a large historic home into village-scale housing and more. All community-minded ideas that meet a critical community need are welcome.

With the first round of projects now underway, applications will open up for a second cohort of communities later in 2025. We invite you to join this webinar to learn more about the program and see if it is appropriate for your Southern Vermont project!

The webinar will consist of a short presentation and then time for q & a. We’ll record the session and send recording to all registrants, along with more information.
