SoVTYPs: Hogback Hike-and-Hang
August 30, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
For our second in-person event, Andrea is back from her Long Trail through hike and ready to take you out on the trail with her!
The hike is a 2.6 mile loop up Hogback. You can either park on Old Hogback Road, across from the trail head or park in the parking lot across from Vermont Distillers and take the trail in the north corner of the parking lot to Old Hogback Road.
All Trails Description of the hike:
“Hogback Mountain is a 2.6 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Marlboro, Vermont that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April to October. Dog are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.”
Then, if you feel comfortable, we’ll meet at Beer Naked afterward for a beer outside.
We are limiting this even to 10 people. Please RSVP if you will be attending. If you RSVP and then realize you cannot make it, please email Sarah at slang@brattleborodevelopment.com
STRICT COVID PROCEDURES: Let’s keep Vermont’s case load down; wear your masks until you’ve started the hike, keep physically distant when possible, and keep your mask handy for when we cannot socially distance on the trail.
Additionally, please bring bug/tick spray because parts of the trail is overgrown and we might be walking through tall grass.
