SoVT Faces in Economic Development: Sharon Cunningham, Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce

Sharon Cunningham is the Executive Director of the Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce. We asked her to tell us about some projects she is working on related to the SoVT economy and what economic development means to her.

“The Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce is currently working on the Bi-Town Marketing Campaign. This campaign is a three year digital marketing campaign funded with 1% economic development funds from the towns of Wilmington & Dover to help promote all valley businesses.

To me, economic development means creating an environment that is sustainable for business and residential community growth.”
