Quonset Hut Snow Repro

BDCC Team Conquers Cotton Mill Snow Mountain

The snow is gone, but before spring blew in, BDCC staff made the most it with a team-building exercise in early March.

We created snow sculptures on, in and around the Cotton Mill’s “snow mountain”. The crowning achievement of the day was a replica of one of the Cotton Mill’s most notable structures: the red Quonset hut. (see above)

Teams vied for top place in a fierce competition, creating sculptures, sets, and experiences. Including an ice globe Whack-a-Mole, a working Snow Sundial, a Cheshire Cat, and a glorious HoneyBadger Snow Cave. There was also a little snow tubing, and what may be the last of this winter’s snow angels.

It was also a chance to bid goodbye to a beloved team member, Dan Floyd, who is moving on to new challenges that involve robots!
