KIVA Crowdfunding Loan Platform Launched in Vermont

On Thursday 01/27/2022, BDCC launched KIVA, a new loan program that was made possible thanks to BDCC’s partnership with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and KIVA. BDCC was recently assigned the designation of KIVA trustee, the first in the State of Vermont. KIVA is a crowdfunding platform that offers a zero percent interest rate making access to capital easy and inexpensive. Lenders, community members as well as worldwide KIVA lenders, can contribute as little as $25 towards a crowdfunding campaign.
