Landmark Students Visit BDCC Cotton Mill Entrepreneurs
Each semester students of entrepreneurship from Landmark College, under the leadership of Professor Tamara Stenn, visit the BDCC’s Cotton Mill to learn first-hand from local business people.
On March 28th students toured and met with the founders of True North Granola, Storymatic Studios, and 2|1 Ceramics. Students asked questions about marketing, costs of goods sold, and incubator support. R.T. Brown, BDCC’s Director of Acceleration and Community Capital Development, provides the students an overview of BDCC’s role in helping startups through programs and services including technical support, incubation and lending. Several of the students are already entrepreneurs navigating the complex landscape of business startups.
