Nominations Sought for Emerging Regional Leaders
Bennington & Windham Young Professionals to be Recognized at SoVermont Economic Summit
Brattleboro, VT –Nominations are currently being sought to identify young professionals who represent a broad range of backgrounds and endeavors, professions and civic engagement, and highlight the diverse contributions that are making this region great. Emerging leaders from the Bennington and Windham regions will be celebrated at a special reception during the 2nd Annual SoVermont Economic Development Summit May 30th at the Mount Snow Grand Summit Lodge. Nominations are due April 15th. Please visit www.sovermontsummit.com for the nomination form.
Last year, ten emerging Southern Vermont leaders were featured and lauded by guest speaker Gov. Phil Scott at the inaugural SoVermont Economic Development Summit, organized by the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation and the Bennington County Regional Commission. All of the 2018 nominees will also be nominated for the Vermont Rising Star award. In 2017 only two people from this region received this statewide recognition despite the abundance of outstanding young leaders here. Please help support and highlight young people who are making a difference.
