A teacher in Philadelphia recently received a job offer in Windham County but had been seeing some negative comments online about Brattleboro. Being in a mixed-race relationship, and knowing Vermont’s stat as one of the whitest states in the nation, the poster also felt a little uncertain about how welcome her family might be.
