Dani (She/Hers) joined BDCC in July 2024 and has a passion for community focused business development and effective nonprofit management. She is focused on the  equitable inclusion of individuals in and support of small business ecosystems in the rural United States. Her superpower is being a strategy nerd.

Dani holds a B.A. in English from Clark University and an M.S.M. in Managing Mission Driven Organizations from Marlboro College. She hails from Southern Vermont (Woodford) and previous to working at BDCC was the Deputy Director of the Adirondack North Country Association. She came into the Deputy role after serving as the Entrepreneurial Economy Program Director and founding ANCA’s Center for Business in Transition Program.  Previous to finding her stride in rural economies, she served as  the Director of Programs and Events at a Chamber of Commerce in Boston’s active Metrowest area.

Outside of the office, Dani spends time with her young children, satiating her appetite for reading, cooking (actually she is only interested in the eating part), kayaking, board games, and volunteering/community service.
