Owen was born in Brattleboro, VT, and has stayed local while completing his education and building work experience. He went to high school at Bellows Falls Union High School, finishing his high school education through the VAST program at Vermont Technical College. Owen continued his education at Keene State College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with minors in Financial Economics and Human Resource Management. Owen also brings experience in finance from a ten month internship at Omega Optical.
Owen has volunteered over two hundred and fifty hours at Green Mountain Conservation Camp, along with volunteering at local learn-to-skate programs. Graduating from college three semesters early, he has a passion for learning and creating positive change within the community. Owen enjoys exercising, hiking with his two dogs, fishing, and riding motorcycles in his free time.
