Wheel Pad Approved for Veterans Home Loan Program

Wheel Pad of Wilmington, Vermont has become an approved builder in the Veterans Home Loan Guarantee Program. Wheel Pad designs and manufactures handicap accessible modules that allow people to maintain independence by adapting their home to serve them better without disruptive and expensive renovations. As an approved VHLG builder Wheel Pad will be able to provide disabled military veterans with an affordable and innovative way to modify their own homes.

Wheel Pad is expanding to meet a growing demand for their product, with funding for manufacturing operations from the Windham County Economic Development Program (WCEDP).  WCEDP invests funds from the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant closure in businesses whose growth is replacing the jobs and economic activity being lost due to the plant’s closure. Wheel Pad was a Vital Project for the region’s CEDS in 2016.
