Jen is BDCC’s Director of Programs. Prior to joining BDCC staff, Jen worked for two years to launch the Vermont Futures Project, in partnership with BDCC former Director, Jeff Lewis. Jen has conducted grant-writing, research and policy development relating to host community recovery from the economic impacts of nuclear plant closure. Jen has a Masters in Regional Planning from UMass Amherst, focused on economically sustainable land use through infill-driven redevelopment in towns. She has worked on community-based public participation and planning projects engaging diverse and multi-lingual communities in Marlboro, Greenfield, Turners Falls, Chicopee, Holyoke and Amherst, MA. Before becoming a planner and economic developer, Jen spent 20 years in non-profit fundraising developing results-driven, broad-based annual fund programs and volunteer networks.
