The federal PPP (Payroll Protection Program)
A new round of funding will be available in 2021 through the U.S. Small Business Administration. The VT Agency of Commerce and Community Development offered a webinar Jan. 6 with the Vermont Bankers Association for businesses planning to apply (recording and presentation can be found at that link). More stimulus money is expected to become available for businesses that are affected by the pandemic. Rules will be issued by the end of January providing further clarity on forgiveness, previous and new loans.
